There is no monetary sale of personal information by Satincabinet. The practice that engages this right is narrower — where ads are served, advertising and cookie identifiers may be shared with ad partners. Given how broadly the statutes define ‘sale’ and ‘share’, we assume it counts and provide the opt-out. This right is available to every reader of satincabinet.com, not only to readers interested in Satincabinet who have contacted us or joined the mailing list.

The Practical Result

Once opted out, we stop sharing advertising identifiers with ad partners. Advertising itself may continue in generic form. There is no penalty of any kind: the site is not degraded, restricted, or priced differently for readers who opt out.
